Introducing M/T Atlantic Jade
09 May 2022
Last month, the 110k DWT LNG-powered tanker made her maiden voyage to Singapore. The vessel, which is chartered to energy giant Equinor, is fitted with 2,300-cbm type-C LNG tanks, allowing it to meet the latest emission standards set by the International Maritime Organisation.
With the addition of Atlantic Jade to our fleet, EPS now has vessels powered by alternative marine fuels in each of our three core segments of containerships, dry bulk and tankers. In the coming years, EPS will have over 60 vessels powered by cleaner alternatives on water. These ships will play a significant role in lowering our carbon footprint and support maritime’s energy transition.
EPS is proud to partner like-minded partners to put more environmentally friendly vessels on water and lead maritime’s energy transition!
